This recently developed fluxer features new efficient burners that produce max. flame temperature of 1630 C.Flame behavior is also dramatically more stable, so that reaching both lower and higher temperatures is easier than ever before. The very good reproducibility of the Fluxy is therefore made excellent in the M4, which offers unsurpassed flame control.
Indeed, the M4 can now reach temperatures inaccessible to the Fluxy, as is shown in the graph below.
|
| The temperature curve of the M4 is also simpler than the Fluxy's; thus, temperature derivation is very straightforward. Note that gas settings from 30% up (the most commonly used settings for fusing) produce a perfectly linear increase in temperature, making for an easy-to-control process |

- Designed for the preparation of glass disks (XRF analysis) and solutions (AA, ICP and wet chemistry analyses)
- High throughput (15-20 samples/hr), for simple-to-fuse (i.e. oxidized) materials
- Fully automatic, efficient, 6-position fluxer with individual burner selection
Seven (7) independent and user-customizable fusion programs (6 are password-locked)
- Ten (10) fully and easily customizable functions per program (1 ignition, 5 heating, 1 conditioning, 1 pouring, 1 convection cooling, 1 forced cooling). The last 4 functions also double as solution stirring functions.
- All parameters can be modified: gas flow, mixing speed and amplitude, function duration...
- Six burners that only use propane: no compressed air or oxygen is required
Standard non-wetting agent tablet injector
